The KlangLab ensemble from Basel specializes in delivering performances and sound art within industrial settings. Michel Roth has spent numerous years studying the infrastructure of the Uri canton, including cable cars and bunkers. Now, in the form of a one-hour location-specific composition and performance, they collaborate to provide a unique experience for a freely roaming audience.
The functional architecture and modular machines within the power plant generate rhythmically repeating patterns. In the realm of sound, you will also perceive the immeasurable power by which water transforms into energy.
